Hack4Change at Kidzcon!
On August 11th and 12th, Hack4Change had the opportunity to teach coding at Kidzcon in Los Angeles! At Kidzcon, we had mini coding sessions using these new coding game boards we create and Scratch coding blocks! The Hack4Change Team had the opportunity to meet many different kids and meet parents! We had so much fun this past weekend! Thank you so much to Kidzcon for giving us the opportunity!
On July 16th and 17th, Hack4Change was excited to teach coding at the Engineer Factory Algebra CSU Institute for middle school students in Inglewood!
Day one consisted of going over the basics of Scratch as well as teaching the students how to code a ping pong game! On the 2nd day, Hack4Change followed up with the creation of a dodgeball game!
Thank you to Mrs. Audrey Thompson from the Engineer Factory as well as to the rest of the Engineer Factory team for giving Hack4Change this opportunity!
